BURAN Jewelry Shines at Paris Biennale des Antiquaires, Wins “Atelier of the Year” Award with Oriental Aesthetics

September 15, 2024, Paris — At the prestigious Biennale des Antiquaires (often dubbed the "Oscars of Jewelry"), Chinese brand “BURAN Jewelry” claimed the "Atelier of the Year" award for its "Serenity" High Jewelry Collection, becoming the first independent Chinese brand to win this honor in the event’s history.
Design Philosophy & Industry Acclaim
- Cultural Fusion: Inspired by the celadon glaze of Song Dynasty Ru kilns, the collection combines Hetian Jade with Type IIa diamonds, showcasing a "sky-after-rain" aesthetic through patented "Ice Vein Inlay" craftsmanship (Patent No.: ZL202410000000.0).
- Jury Commentary: Élodie Dufour, President of the French Jewelry Association, praised:
"BURAN redefines luxury—preserving nature’s beauty through technology and narrating civilization’s weight through design."
Limited Edition & Philanthropic Initiative
The "Serenity" series is limited to 9 pieces globally. Proceeds from the auction of Piece No. 001 (sold for RMB 28 million) will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for Antarctic conservation projects.
Global Expansion Strategy
BURAN Jewelry CEO Wang Qingyuan revealed:
"We have established a three-year strategic partnership with Christie’s Auction House, with brand salons set to open in London and Dubai by 2025, advancing our ‘Globalization of Oriental Aesthetics’ vision."
